Profesör Dr. Feyzi Birol SARICA
1971 yılında Almanya doğumlu olan Dr. Feyzi Birol Sarıca, evli ve iki çocuk babasıdır. İlk ve Orta eğitimini Ardahan’da, Lise Eğitimini ise Ankara Mustafa Kemal Lisesi’nde tamamladı. 1997 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesini bitirerek Tıp Doktoru ünvanı aldı. 1998-1999 yılları arasında 16 ay süre askerlik hizmetini yerine getirdi. 2000 yılında Ankara Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Kliniğinde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak başladı. Uzmanlık eğitimini 2005 yılında “Supratentorial glial tümörlerde prognostik faktörler” isimli Uzmanlık tezi ile tamamlayarak Uzman Doktor ünvanı aldı. 2006 yılında Başkent Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı, Adana Uygulama ve Araştırma Hastanesinde Uzman Doktor olarak çalışmaya başladı ve 20.08.2015 yılları arasında aynı Üniversitede Öğretim Görevlisi Doktor olarak çalışmaya devam etti. 2016 yılında Ankara Kudret International Hospital’de çalıştı. 2017 yılında Giresun Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı’nda Yardımcı Doçent Doktor olarak çalışmaya başladı ve Anabilim Dalı Başkanı olarak atandı. 2018 Mart ayında Doçent Doktor ünvanı aldı. 2023 Ağustos ayında aynı üniversitede Profesör Doktor kadrosuna atandı ve 2025 Ekim ayına kadar çalışmalarına devam etti. 2026 Ocak ayında Özel Ankara Koru Hastanesinde ve 2026 Mart ayından itibaren ise halen Ankara Koru Kavaklıdere Hastanesinde görev yapmaktadır. Türk Nöroşirürji Derneği ve Sinir Sistemi Cerrahisi Derneği üyelikleri bulunmaktadır.

Uluslararası hakemli dergilerde yayımlanan 26 adet makale, Ulusal hakemli dergilerde yayımlanan 6 adet makale, Uluslararası bilimsel toplantılarda sunulan ve bildiri kitaplarında basılan toplam 12 adet bildiri, Ulusal bilimsel toplantılarda sunulan ve bildiri kitaplarında basılan 65 adet bildiri, 2 adet Uluslararası kitap editörlüğü ve 4 adet Uluslararası kitap bölümü yazarlığı mevcuttur. SCI veya Pubmed kapsamında yayınlanan toplam 8 adet Uluslararası dergide; konuk editörlük, yayın kurulu
üyeliği ve hakemlik görevleri mevcuttur. Serebrovasküler Cerrahi, Hidrosefali ve Spinal Disrafizmler, Mikrocerrahi, Kafa Tabanı, Endoskopik Kafa Tabanı ve Gamma-Knife Radyocerrahi Eğitim Kurslarını tamamladı. Ayrıca birçok Ulusal ve Uluslararası bilimsel kongre, sempozyum ve çalıştaylara katıldı. Genel Nöroşirürji’nin yanısıra, Nöroonkoloji ve Serebrovasküler Cerrahi alanlarına ilgi duymaktadır.

Feyzi Birol Sarıca, Professor Dr.
Der 1971 in Deutschland geborene Dr. Feyzi Birol Sarica ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder. Seine Grund- und Sekundarschulbildung absolvierte er in Ardahan, sein Abitur am Mustafa-Kemal- Gymnasium in Ankara. 1997 schloss er sein Medizinstudium an der Universität Ankara mit dem “Medizinische Doktortitel” ab. Von 1998 bis 1999 leistete er seinen 16-monatigen Wehrdienst. Im Jahr 2000 begann er seine Tätigkeit als "wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter" an der Neurochirurgischen Klinik des Ankara Numune Lehr- und Forschungskrankenhauses. 2005 schloss er seine Facharztausbildung mit der Dissertation “Prognostische Faktoren bei Supratentoriellen Glial Tumoren” ab und erhielt den Titel “Facharzt für Neuroschirurgie”. Im Jahr 2006 begann er seine Tätigkeit als Facharzt an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Başkent-Universität, Abteilung für Neurochirurgie, am Adana Application and Research Hospital. Von 2008 bis 2015 war er dort als “Facharzt für Neuroschirurgie und Hochschullehrer” tätig. 2016 arbeitete er zum Ankara Kudret International Hospital. 2017 wurde er “Assistenzprofessor” an der Abteilung für Neurochirurgie der Medizinischen Fakultät der Giresun-Universität und übernahm dort die Leitung der Abteilung. Im März 2018 wurde er zum “Dozent” ernannt. Im August 2023 wurde er an derselben Universität zum ordentlichen “Professor” berufen und blieb dort bis Oktober 2025. Im Januar 2026 begann er seine Tätigkeit am Ankara Koru Private Hospital und ist seit März 2026 am Ankara Koru Kavaklıdere Hospital tätig. Er ist Mitglied der Türkischen Gesellschaft für Neurochirurgie und der Gesellschaft für Chirurgie des Nervensystems.

Er hat 26 Artikel in internationalen Fachzeitschriften mit Peer-Review und 6 Artikel in nationalen Fachzeitschriften mit Peer-Review veröffentlicht. Zudem hat er 12 Vorträge auf internationalen und 65 Vorträge auf nationalen wissenschaftlichen Tagungen gehalten, die in den jeweiligen Konferenzbänden publiziert wurden. Er ist Herausgeber von zwei internationalen Büchern und Autor von vier internationalen Buchkapiteln. Er ist Gastredakteur, Mitglied des Redaktionsbeirats und Gutachter für insgesamt acht internationale Fachzeitschriften, die in SCI oder PubMed gelistet sind. Er hat Fortbildungen in Mikrochirurgie, Zerebrovaskulärer Chirurgie, Hydrozephalus und Spina bifida, Schädelbasischirurgie, Endoskopischer Schädelbasischirurgie und Gamma-Knife Radiochirurgie absolviert. Darüber hinaus hat er an zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen wissenschaftlichen Kongressen, Symposien und Workshops teilgenommen. Neben der Allgemeinen Neurochirurgie interessiert er sich für Neuroonkologie und Zerebrovaskuläre Chirurgie.

Feyzi Birol Sarica born in 1971 in Germany graduated the Medicine Faculty of Ankara University in 1997 and received the title of “Medical Doctor”. In 2005, he gaves his expertise thesis named with “Prognostic factors in Supratentorial Glial Tumors” at the Neurosurgery Clinic of Ankara Numune Education and Research Hospital and received the title of “Neurosurgeon” by Turkish Board Certification. He worked firstly as “Neurosurgeon and Lecturer” in Adana Education and Research Hospital of Medicine Faculty of Baskent University between 2006 and 2015 years. He worked at the Kudret International Hospital in Ankara in 2016. He started to work as “Assistant Professor” at Department of Neurosurgery of Medicine Faculty of Giresun University in 2017. He took the title of “Associate Professor” in March 2018. In August 2023, he was appointed to the position of “Professor” at the same university and continued his work there until October 2025. In January 2026, he started working at Private Ankara Koru Hospital, and since March 2026, he has been working at Ankara Koru Kavaklıdere Hospital. He is a member of the Turkish Neurosurgery Association and the Society of Nervous System Surgery.

He participated in Microsurgery, Cerebrovascular Surgery, Hydrocephalus and Spinal Dysraphism, Skull Base Surgery, Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and Gamma-Knife Radiosurgery Training Courses. He is interested in General Neurosurgery as well as Neurooncology and Cerebrovascular Surgery in recent years.
