Prof. Dr. Mehmet E. Erdil, İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi'nden 2001 yılında mezun olmuş ve 2007 yılında aynı üniversitenin Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalı’nda ihtisasını tamamlamıştır. Uzmanlık eğitimi süresince özellikle sporcu sağlığı, travma cerrahisi ve eklem hastalıkları üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır.
