Ganglion kistleri el bileğinde görülen şişliklerin en sık sebebidir. Sıklıkla eklem ve tendon kılıflarından köken alan içi jel kıvamında sıvı dolu kistlerdir. Büyüdükçe bulundukları bölgede bası sebebi ile ağrı ve uyuşma gibi şikayetlere sebep olabilirler. Bazı hastalarda ise sadece kozmetik rahatsızlığa sebep olurlar. Cerrahi ile kist kılıfıyla çıkarılır ve köküne dikiş koyularak tekrar oluşması önlenir.
Ganglion cysts are the most common cause of a mass or lump in the wrist. They are derrived from joint capsules and tendon sheaths. They are filled with a jelly like fluid. As they get bigger they can cause pain and numbness according to their place. Sometimes it only gives cosmetic discomfort. In their surgery we remove the cyst totally with its sheath and repair the remaining tissues so that it doesn’t reoccur.
